5 Feb 2024 – Leading InsurTech, Send Technology Solutions Ltd (Send) has been shortlisted for the ‘Global P&C Technology Partner of the Year’ award at the ‘Axco Global Insurance Awards 2024’.
The awards, now in their second year, recognise the outstanding achievements, innovation and collaboration of the insurance ecosystem in managing complex global risk.
This category recognises partners that are driving innovation in technology, developing solutions that improve internal and external operational and administrative insurance processes within global insurance. Send has been recognised for its Underwriting Workbench, a SaaS and AI-enriched underwriting platform that supports and facilitates the entire underwriting process for insurers and MGAs from submission to bind, and beyond.
The Send Underwriting Workbench has been developed to address the complex needs of commercial and specialty underwriters, who are under pressure to remain profitable in a tough market.
Every element of the workbench has been designed to enable data-driven underwriting. Features include the Smart Submission component, which uses generative AI to automate data extraction and triage submission to help insurers improve their submission-to-quote ratios, templates for more than 40 lines of business, and user-friendly interfaces, workflows, and automation to help increase the efficiency of tasks.
Co-founder and CEO Andy Moss said:
“We’re very proud to receive this independent validation of our position as a trusted partner in the global property and casualty market, to make the shortlist for this global scheme is a tremendous accolade in itself.
“The Send Underwriting Workbench is a hyper-relevant solution to a market which has been typically underserved until now. Our customers report significant business benefits since implementing the platform, notably greater efficiencies, effectiveness and control. They’re able to increase quote to bind ratios, get new products to market quickly, and do more without adding headcount.”
“We’re looking forward to the awards ceremony in April.”
